29 Weeks Old – January 1st, 2007

Tuesday was your very first Christmas ever! You looked so cute in your stegosaurus jammies, and you got incredibly too many toys! The big hits were a little guitar shaped see and say from your Grandma Pat, a bag of soft blocks with rattles and teethers inside from your Grandma Ann, and an Elmo toy that has a ton of buttons to make a lot of different sounds.

You were absolutely adorable. At Grandma Ann’s the most fascinating thing to you was the trash bag we got out for all the wrapping paper.

You had been sleeping great for the past couple weeks, but Christmas night and the next you regressed. Mommy got sick with a cold, and wouldn’t you know that that’s when you’d decide to be up all night!  The rest of the week was fine though and you were back to sleeping 7-6.

Now when you knock a toy just out of reach, instead of looking to me to get it for you, you thrust your entire body in the direction of it and stretch to get it. Your legs don’t go anywhere, but I think it’s just a matter of time. You throw yourself so hard that you scoot a centimeter or two. When you realize you still can’t reach it, then you look at me to get it, or find something closer. You are so funny 😉
